Project Tuesday - Oragami Box

Welcome to this week's Project Tuesday!!! Today we are making an Oragami Box! These are great!! Quick and easy. Now, you can find the tutorial HERE, however, I need to tell you that I changed the dimensions on my box.

My box will fit 12 Hershey's nuggets, 2 layers of 6. The dimensions on mine are 8 1/4" square for the bottom and 8 3/4" square for the top. You can basically change them to whatever you want, but the top needs to be approximately 1/2" larger than the bottom.

Here's the top! I stamped the Happy Birthday sentiment (from the Stamps & Smiles Happy Birthday Cupcake set) on two lines instead of one, squared it and used my nestibilites for layering. I then stamped out the balloon from the same set, cut it out, popped it up on a pop-dot and put a real bow and ribbon on it.

The Hershey nuggets are covered in the same patterned papers I used for the box. I stamped the mini-Cuppy on the plain paper (it's actually textured) and covered the chocolates with these. If you don't want to use patterned papers, you can use and Avery address label, stamp maybe a background or something else on it, and they fit perfectly around the Nuggets. (You might have a little uncovered at the bottom, but since it's on the bottom, nobody will see it anyway! LOL) You don't have to do the chocolate thing for Project Tuesday, but I figured you might like the information.

So run on over to Project Tuesday and try this one!! Wait til you see what the rest of the Design Team did!! This is a quick and easy projects - cut your paper square and fold!
