A few more challenges down...

I am now definitely a firm believer of challenge lists!! It shows again on this card....I will be doing that MUCH more often!!

I love the way this card came out - it will be good for one of the little boys that I buy for! Probably my son as his birthday is the next little boy - of course he'll be 15, but this will work for him!

So - here are the challenges:

  • First up - TCP Tuesday for color. Navy, green and white - and I really like the combo!

  • Spoonful of Sugar asked for texture (Touchy Feely is the term they used I believe)

  • Creative Card Crew asked for embossing - I used my Numbers Cuttlebug embossing folder for the background - which covered both of them.

  • Cupcake Crafts asked for numbers - again, Numbers Cuttlebug embossing folder, making it perfect for a birthday card - hence my Verve sentiment.

  • Last, but certainly not least, The Pink Elephant asked for Circles and Scallops. Well - I actually only have one of each - so does that count? If I get time, maybe I'll do a second one for them.

And that will do it for this card! Love the card and the fact that it covered a bunch of challenges! Thanks for stopping by!

Monday, Tuesday and a couple of Sprinkles....

Another double for me!! This is the Mojo Monday Sketch #81 and it's the TCP Tuesday Color Challenge! The color challenge was specifically raspberry pink, pumpkin orange and sunny yellow! I love bright colors - and who doesn't love Sprinkle!

So, the stamp set is The Cat's Pajama's Mod Mod World, flowers are Prima, cardstock from the stash. I don't think you can see it really well, but the yellow cardstock is embossed with the Cuttlebug Argyle embossing folder. A few KaiserCraft rhinestones, and the card is done! I do like how it turned out.

Sorry for the short post - spent today at the Children's Hospital with my daughter. I am happy to report that the procedure found nothing wrong with her - but they did do a couple of biopsies that we will know the results of next week. They were also able to rule out a couple of things we were worried about. That being said - I will just say that I am EXHAUSTED! As always, thanks for visiting...and I hope to see you back here tomorrow!
