A shirt, a layout and a couple of milk cartons!

Hey there!! Have you been over to Scrap Orchard lately? There's a bunch of new releases going on from Amy Stoffel (and others I am sure!!) But let's concentrate on Amy for the moment. LOL

She has an ADORABLE Halloween kit which was just released called GIMME CANDY! It's adorable - and for anybody who isn't fond of the color purple (Hi Dalis!) this kit is for you!! Let me show you what I made with it:

Just the shirt (Devin was "made" 7 years ago! LOL) This is actually the first T-shirt I have tried and the iron on transfer stuff was pretty easy to work with! Nice simple directions and VOILA! custom shirt.

Here it is on my ironing board - newly complete:

And here's the actual digital artwork so you can see it nice and clear-like! LOL Aren't those elements just adorable?!?!?!

Amy also has a great new cooking kit called LA CUCINA! and it's even got FREE with purchase Recipe Cards!! It's an AWESOME kit. I think it strikes the perfect blend of "adult cute" if you will!

I made this layout with it - using a template from Susan Robinson, which is available at Digital Scrap Ink. This collection is called LOVE OF BLOCKING.

Next up - milk cartons! Strange subject, huh? Well not really - and these two milk cartons came out super cute too - if I do say so myself! Both were made using a template created by Kelleigh Ratzlaff of The DigiChick.

First up - Shawna!! This milk carton uses Shawna Clingerman's new kit - RUN FOR YOUR LIFE - it's a collab with Emily Card! It's super cute - especially if you are a runner! Since I am not, I took it a different route....

Next up - mgl Scraps & Studio Ziska. They have an amazing Halloween collab out called NIGHTSHADE. It's a cross between cute and scary. I love this one because I was able to use this postage stamp element on the front and it's got the extra piece at the bottom that I can easily personalize! So if I sent 5-6 to school with my daughter for her teachers, I could write the teacher's name right on the bottom of that stamp! I just LOVE it!

And that's it for this post! Come back...I have more to show you!

Some layouts & stuff...

A couple of things I have created recently - I am trying to go back to my regular posting. This first one uses Flergs TroubleMaker kit and a Template from Chrissy W. - two of my favorite designers combined - what could be better!!

The journaling, which you probably can't read, is a story that I often read to Devin at bedtime. It basically tells him that no matter what he does - I still love him.

This next one is using a new kit called In The Blues from Studio Ziska and a template from Jen C - both over at Scrapbook Graphics! It happens to be Jen C's playday at the Studio, so you should head on over and play with her templates - they're fabulous!!

Last, but certainly not least, are fortune cookies I made for The Hybrid Chick - but I am not going to tell you much about them here. Stop over to The Hybird Chick blog and read the whole post and see my tutorial!

That's it for now, but stop back tomorrow, I have will have Project Tuesday to show you!!

Working Away....

and my poor blog has been neglected!! I have so much to show you, just not sure where to start, and of course I will try to spread it over a couple of days, so I can get back into routine again!!

And here we go:

This cute little box was done for Studio Ziska!! I was contemplating what project to do for them - as I am still a Guest over there, when the Frameworthy challenge over that the SBG Forum was brought to my attention - Frameworthy is inspired by ART - in this case, the chosen art was ORAGAMI! So what was a Hybrid girl to do? Well, I did an Oragami Box of course! It was a perfect non-layout challenge - seemed like it was made just for me!!

It uses the Studio Ziska Marmalade Skies kit, which is of course availabe at Scrapbook Graphics.

Next up - a couple of layouts - both also for SBG. This first one is my friend Christine on her wedding day - it was for the Natali Play Day last week and uses her All You Need is Love kit. It also uses a Studio Hillary template from her white space #3 collection.

I also have the next layout with my three children - which shows off the SBG Studio Girls Collection for September - Impressions of Change.

And I still have more to show you, but I think that's all for tonight!! Come back soon, I am going to get my blogging act back together soon!

Thanks for stopping by!

Ziska - Cutie Pie

Hi everybody!! Hope all is well in your neck of the woods! Today I bring you three layouts from Studio Ziska over at Scrapbook Graphics. These three layouts are all made with her Cutie Pie kit. It is actually a very girly kit, but I am glad to say I was able to do one layout with my son for it as well!

This first one is entitled Baby Girl. It uses a template and I actually did it for a Speed Scrap over at Scrap Matters. It was actually done with only one pictures, just cropped differently.

This next one I actually didn't title. I am not 100% sure that layouts always need a title, so every once in a while I throw one in there without one!

An last but certainly not least...Sleepy Boy. This is my son, who fell asleep KNEELING near the couch? How do they do that? But this is my boy layout and still uses this very girl kit! It would probably be easier for a baby and a little more difficult for an older boy, but I think it worked!

I am hoping to give you a BIG announcement tomorrow, so be sure to come back soon!!!

MZ Hope by Ziska & mgl Scraps

Well, I am LOVING my time as a Guest Creative Team Member for Studio Ziska. Recently, I was also asked to be a Guest Hybrid Blog Chic for Studio mgl.

This kit/grab bag just came outand it happens to be a collaboration between Ziska and mgl Scraps. It's called MZ HOPE and I have two project for you with this one. First up is a set of four cards. These cards (if I remember correctly are 5" square. I like to think of them as pretty simple. All the "designing" was done on the computer and printed. I cut and adhered to the cardstock and only added the rhinestones in the swirls. I am really liking how they came out.

I also have this layout for you! I did use a template for this (and I will apologize now) as I don't remember who created the template, but I will check and edit so you have the information in case you want it. The rest of it is all MZ Hope.

I will let you know that these were done with a VERY small portion of the grab bag that is currently out. This were made with Ziska's original pieces and she since added other GREAT pieces (can't let the cat out of the bag!) and these show NONE of mgl's portion, but you will see more of this kit very soon - I promise!

And that's it for now! Come back tomorrow - I have my first MOSD project coming up - and it's made for mgl Scraps as well!!

There's a lot to see today!!

Happy Friday everybody!! There sure is a lot going on! There are a bunch of releases over at ScrapOrchard that I have been keeping from you! (of course, that is part of the job! LOL) Anyway, I happen to be on three Creative Teams over at Scrap Orchard and they all have a release this Friday - Amy actually has FOUR! So, here we go!

First up - Jady Day Studio! She has this adorable kit for all your backyard summer fun - with water anyway! It's called Back Yard Splash! IT IS SOOOOOOO cute!! Be sure to head over there and check it out! I used a template on this from Sahlin Studio over at Scrap Matters! LOVE LOVE LOVE it!

Next up is Ziggle Designs and Geeky Diva! This would probably be a REALLY good time to tell you that I have been asked to be on BOTH of these CREATIVE TEAMS!!! WOOO HOOO!!

This particular invitation is for both of their releases today! The kit for Ziggle (available today over at ScrapOrchard) and is called BOOM BOOM. It has the CUTEST dinosaurs you have ever seen! There are several others - they obviously wouldn't all fit on this one invitation - and that adorable stone age alphabet is in the kit too!! The papers are GORGEOUS colors - nice the bright!

The template for this is by Geeky Diva and is being released today over at Scrap Matters. It's in a set called The Honor of your Presence. It has several invitation templates, several card layouts and even comes with the word art! It's a GREAT set! Be sure to run over there and pick this one up!

Next up - the biggest project today - is a CD Calendar! I LOVE the way this calendar came out. The template set is once again by Geeky Diva (I had actually bought this before she invited me to be on her Creative Team) and all the papers and elements are being released today over at ScrapOrchard by LCC by Amy Stoffel. These kits are collaborations with Jen Yurko.

The kits are called Flavors of Life: Summer. You can buy them all together or separately. The four kits are: Blueberry Grape Smoothie, Cherry Lime-ade (which I think is my favorite), Raspberry Lemon Zinger and Strawberry Orange Crush and are all available today over at ScrapOrchard. I would recommend getting all four!! They are SOOOO versatile and CUTE too!

And last, but certainly not least, another invitation using The Honor of Your Presence by Geeky Diva and Sunken Garden by Studio Ziska!

This would be a very elegant invitation for a wedding. The colors and papers in the Sunken Garden kit are GORGEOUS! I just created the invitation using the Geeky Diva templates, printed it, mounted it onto kraft cardstock and added the ribbon at the top! Just gorgeous (If I do say so myself), simple, easy and quick!!

I'm not really sure if I can say "that's it" for today - I am thinking it's a LOT!!!
Thanks for stopping by - there definitely won't be as much to see tomorrow!

Sunken Garden - for Ziska!

I am loving being a Guest Member for Studio Ziska's Creative Team!! I did these two layouts with a kit called Sunken Garden and you can find it over at Scrapbook Graphics. Both were done using templates. The Sophomore Dance template is from Little Dreamer Designs from Michelle Filo and they're called Playing with Paper. I just love templates!!

This second one uses a template I found as a freebie. It's buy Christine Brown Designs. I LOVE this template! It is SOOOOO unique!!

I will have at least one more layout for you using Sunken Garden - especially since it's almost done!! This kit is VERY elegant! It would be lovely for wedding photos. Anyway, thanks for stopping by! Be sure to come back soon, there's always more to see!!

Project Tuesday - Gable Box

It's Tuesday - and you know what that means!! Another fun project for you over at the Stamps & Smiles Project Tuesday blog! Today we are doing a Gable Box, and you can find the instructions HERE.

This is a CUTE little project and it was quick and EASY! You need to run on over to the Project Tuesday blog and see what the other girls did!! Here's mine:

If you read my blog regularly, you know I am all about Digi right now and this project is no different! It was made using digital papers from Studio Ziska, where I am currently a guest on her Creative Team! This kit is called Playtime.

Just one other challenge to go with Project Tuesday today and that's for Daring Cardmakers who asked for bling/sparkle.

More Ziska!!

As you know, I am a currently a Guest Creative Team member for Studio Ziska! I am loving it - her kits each have a style all their own!! So I have a couple more things to show you using her LITTLE BUGGY kit, available at Scrapbook Graphics.

This first layout uses a FREE template that you can get on her blog! I love them template - it's very unique!! Sometimes templates can start to look the same - not this one!! But I LOVE LOVE LOVE templates and when you use them - you truly do make them your own!

Next up is a set of four cards! As most of you know if you visit me often - I don't stamp (well, very rarely and I don't think very well). So the digital gives the "stamper" in me an outlet!! I just size and print! It's perfect!! These four flower note cards are also made from LITTLE BUGGY - it's a VERY versatile kit!

So four cards - four different flowers! The patterned paper is also from the kit. Some cardstock and a ribbon - they're done!! Very simple and great for any occasion!!

Thanks for stopping by!! There's more around the corner headed your way!!

Bottle Cap Magnets

If I do say so myself, this is an ADORABLE project!! And you will probably see a few more before I am done! These are magnets and they're made from bottle caps!! The circles in the cap are made from my 1" circle punch.

The papers/elements are from Studio Ziska's Little Buggy kit and I am THRILLED to say that I am lucky enough to have been asked to be a guest on her Creative Team!!!

Photobucket

I grabbed the tin these are in from Michael's and just printed some paper out and covered it. I just adore the way these came out!!

I can't take credit for the idea though...but I can't remember who it belongs to, I will be sure to add it for you - I think it was Betsy Oehlers.
