Sidekick

It's so seldom I scrap just for the joy of it...but this is one of those layouts! I had bought this kit by Lauren Reid a little while ago because yellow and kraft are my favorites! And since I've been on a grey kick lately, it really was perfect. The alpha is Shawna Clingerman's from my days on her team...I still think her stuff is TOTALLY AWESOME!

And that's it! I still have layouts to be posted, so take a peek back when you can!

Hope

I love how this layout came out! I don't scrap myself very often either...probably because I am usually behind the camera! I love the colors and kraft is a new favorite of mine!

Hybrid Catch Up

Okay - so I have been slacking on my hybrid creations. Today, I truly made up for it!! Here's what I accomplished today!

Up first - Box in A Bag - two actually.

I have done these before - I could link you to some old, non-digital blog posts to show you, but I won't! LOL Anyway, this one is made using a template by Krisi Kreations, and is available over at Scrap Matters.

The kit is CAUGHT RED HANDED by Shawna Clingerman. It's the cutest darn kit you've ever seen! LOL

The second one uses the same template, but this kit is from Amy Stoffel and is called I'M JUST SAYIN'! I cute phrase that is well used in the CT Forum! This kit is totally adorable and if you're an Amy fan (even if you're not), it's a must have for your collection!

Next up - a triangular tube box. The template is by Kelleigh Ratzlaff over at the DigiChick. The kit is by Shawna Clingerman & Lauren Grier and is called BREATHE IN THE RAIN.

Last, but certainly not least, is this cute tapered box! Again a Kelleigh Ratzlaff template. The kit is LITTLE BIT O'GREEN by Geek Chic Scraps and is available over at Polka Dot Plum.

And that's my hybrid catch up! Be sure to come back tomorrow, I hope to have a sneak peek at my Mix It Up post for Scrapbook Graphics tomorrow!!

New Stuff from my Creative Teams!

I have a bunch of new stuff to show you today! I am probably late on some of it, but when the computer crashed, it took a while to get back up and running again!!

This first one is all AMY STOFFEL! She has NEW PAGE STARTER TEMPLATES in her store and I totally LOVE them!! You should know by now that I really haven't met a template I didn't like! LOL

This also uses her new kit called SUGAR PIE! It has the most adorable elements in it!! It's available over at Scrap Orchard.

This next layout is also a PAGE STARTER TEMPLATE from Amy! The kit is called CLOSE TO THE EDGE by Shawna Clingerman and is available over at Sweet Shoppe.

This next one uses a template by Haynay Designs. The kit, however, is from FISHBOWL DESIGNS! It's called GRUNGY KIND OF LOVE and is available over at Sunshine Studio. I actually worked on this as a one kit call and was THRILLED when Anne asked be to be part of her Creative Team!!! WOOOO HOOOOO!!!! So you will be seeing more stuff from the Fishbowl!!

I love this layout!! This is one of those pictures of my daughter - she finally just smiled for me! LOL This kit is from SPINKY DINK SCRAPS! It's a collab with Misty O'Brien and is called EVERYDAY HAPPENINGS! The template is by Bella Gypsy (love her templates too!!) and both are available at Elemental Scraps!

Last, but certainly not least, is this layout. It uses both template and kit from Amanda Heimann. The template is from her YEAR IN REVIEW collection and the kit is called GLORY DAYS. I think both were perfect for this layout of Amanda & Jimmy showing off their New England Patriot jerseys!

Well...that's it for this post! Will be back with more soon! Thanks for stopping by!

A Little Behind....

Okay - the computer crashed, I lost a BUNCH of stuff - including layouts I don't think I posted. Of course, my brother - a computer programmer - is working on all that stuff, so hopefully it's not really all gone. In the meantime, I am on the new laptop and can show you some stuff I have created recently.

First I made this cute little box with Shawn's new kit OWN IT. Great for all the little boys in your life!

This chocolate holding matchbook was made with Shawna's U AND I kit. The matchbook is a template from Krisi's Creations over at Scrap Matters.

Another chocolate holding matchbook - this time for Amy Stoffel using her SUGAR PIE kit, available at Scrap Orchard.

Next up - a set of boxes using Amanda Heimann's new PENELOPE kit, available at Scrap Orchard. The box templates I used are from the Cutting Cafe.

In the next couple of days I will be back with some layouts for you. Thanks for stopping by!!

Layouts for Shawna

Although I usually do hybrid for Shawna, today I have a few layouts using a few of her more recent kits!! This first one uses I'M THE PRINCESS. This is not my normal style - I am usually much less busy! The template is by BIOGRAFFITTI and it was a RAK!! It was a great surprise - so be sure to check out her store over at SCRAP ARTIST!!

This next one uses BREATHE IN THE RAIN - a "SHAUREN" Collab. They're a great pair! The template is made by Dani Mogstad and was a freebie in the SSD forums, so go check it out!!

And lastly - another busy one - and bright too! This one uses Shawna's CRAFTAPALOOZA kit - which is actually a collab with Fee Jardine. I thought it was perfect for a non-journaled layout just about the fact that I CREATE! I thought it kind of spoke for itself. I believe the template on this one was also a freebie a while back at the SSD forum, but unfortunately that's all I can tell you.

And that's all for this post! See you again soon....

How about some boxes??

Hey there! Got some hybrid for you!! Since it's late in the day and I am tiring as I type this (in advance for you) I will keep in short and sweet!!!

This one uses the SILHOUETTE BOX template by Kelleigh Ratzlaff and the HIS BOY ELROY kit by Shawna & Libby.

This cutie uses Kelleigh's MILK CARTON TEMPLATE and the kit is AROUND THE FARM by Kandy Kane Creations.

Last - but certainly not least - this uses the CANDY BAR BOX template by the Hybrid Kid and A DREAM FOR PETER kit by Amy Stoffel.

See - I told you it would be short and sweet! Thanks for stopping by!

Working for Shawna!

I must say that I LOVE being on Shawna Clingerman's creative team! I can work with EVERYTHING she designs!

This is my most recent project for Shawna - it uses her GUESS WHOOO LOVES YOU kit as well as a template from Lauren Meader.

I was trying to make an owl! My daughter told me it looked like a turkey even before I added the feathers in the back, so...I added the feathers and made it into a turkey! I am thinking it's pretty cute! If you were really ambitious (and I know I'm not) you could make one for each person at your Thanksgiving table!

This next project was made quite a while ago and it is featured in the DST INSIDER this month!!! I am very excited to be published for the first time! This is made using a couple of collabs from Shawna...MY WAY OR THE HIGHWAY - with Lauren Grier and BEEP CHUGGA ZOOM with Kristin Cronin-Barrow.

It's a travel set!! Everything fits in the can - with room to spare so you could throw a couple of dry snacks in there too! It will keep the kids occupied as you take the long trip to visit relatives for the holidays!

There are bingo cards - made with templates from Studio Wendy at Scrapbook Graphics.

There are 50 state cards - for the license plate game! I also put the state abbreviation, capital and nickname on mine so they could be used for a learning tool later!

A travel mug - didn't want to leave the adults out!!

And the top of the can is a tic tac toe board - made with bottle caps and by adhering magnets to the bottom of the bottle caps - really easy to do!

So be sure to stop over at SHAWNA'S store - I am sure you will find her designs are AWESOME as I do!!

Devilish Angel

I love this layout - although I think my daughter was offended! LOL Just a quick little post today - this layout was created using a NEW template from SUSAN ROBINSON DESIGNS, so you can hop on over to her store at Digital Scrap Ink and check them out!

The kit used is Shawna Clingerman's ABSOLUTE CHERRY CRUSH...it's actually a collab with Lauren Grier and Penny Springman - and it's ADORABLE!! So you can check that out too!!

See - I told you it was a quick post!

The template is from Susan Robinson Designs - Love of Clusters.

The kit is Shawna Clingerman - Pink Elephants & All That.

Those elephants were perfect for this layout...Okay - just a quick post but thanks for stopping by!

A couple of boxes and a princess...

How about a couple of boxes today?!?!? I made both of these using Kelleigh Ratzlaff's Pencil Box Collection, which is available over at the DigiChick.

I think they came out adorable!! (If I do say so myself...). This first one uses Shawna Clingerman's new BOOTIFUL kit, a collab with Christy Lyle. I must say I messed up on this one. As you will see from the next photo, the inside of the box is gray...well, I had meant of the outside to be gray (kind of like a coffin) and the inside to be yellow. But, oh well....I will plan better next time.

In looking in The DigiChick gallery, I found that Julee had made the discovery that 12 Reese's Peanut Butter cups fit perfectly inside the box. Well, I took her discovery and ran with it!! Thanks Julee!!

This second one was made using Amanda's Heimann's new kit, Fall Frolic, a collab with Jennifer Fox. On this one I decorated the front flap, printed an extra copy of the Happy Fall and popped it up and added a pretty ribbon to the top.

I then printed some pumpkins, used my 1" circle punch and attached them to the top of the peanut butter cups! Cute, huh??

I have actually done three of these at this point and might do a couple more. Would probably make great teacher gifts!

I also have a layout for you today. This was done using one of Susan Robinson's new template - available at Digital Scrap Ink! This one is from a set of four called LOVE OF SIMPLICITY. She has BEAUTIFUL templates - be sure to check her out. The kit is Cupcaking by Eva Kipler.

Hope you like them! Give the designers a lookie - they all have GREAT stuff!

PIO Plus

This is gonna be a long post, just because I feel as I start writing this that I think I might have a lot to say! LOL

First, I realized I totally forgot to post my Pile It On! post yesterday, so I am going to start there and just add to it.

So, we have a wonderful sponsor this week at Pile It On! SOFTPENCIL!! This is the second time they have sponsored us and they really have the most ADORABLE images!! See my little bat? That's my SoftPencil image.

Now, if you've been a reader for a while, you know I have gone from paper to pretty much entirely digital. This week's Pile It On! challenge is to do something 3-D. Now our three dimensional could merely mean a button, pop dots - anything that gives your project some dimension! So, me being me, I made an actual 3-D Project - in both the project, as well as the tag....take a peek:

This really is a super simple project. I made the tag only....the rest is a clear plastic cup (yup - those cheapie drinking cups you buy and throw away for a party) and the treat sacks. I bought these because they were "classic" black - although those are skulls! LOL And then I made my tag. The tag is actually on with the twist tie that comes with the treat sacks, the ribbon is totally embellishment.

And of course with all Pile It On! challenges, you need to PILE IT ON!! So here are the other challenges that work for my project:

So hopefully you will run over to the Pile It On! blog and have fun with our challenge this week.

Next up are a bunch of layouts I did yesterday - and it's actually not all of them. So if you just want to have a peek and tell me what you think if you feel like it. I have listed the credits below each layout so if you see something you like on there, you can go and grab it!

But first, I must say, this first layout uses a template that my friend Lita created. She's just started to make them and they've been MARVELOUS! So if you like the layout of the layout (lol) let me know...I would love to pass that information on to her!

And that it for that layout....the following are all layouts made using templates from Studio Hillary! Like I said, I was just creating yesterday like there would be no tomorrow!

IN THE MIDDLE CREDITS:

PRICELESS CREDITS:

AMAZING CREDITS:

I think that's it for today!! Happy Creating to you and I hope you all had a great World Cardmaking Day this past Saturday. Don't forget - Digital Scrapbooking Day is coming up in November! I am sure there are lots of great things planned!
