Size Matters

Catchy title, huh??? There was a sketch challenge over a Limelight Papercrafts - use the sketch and make it Manly! So here it is - I took this opportunity to use my Twisted Sentiments set from My Favorite Things...and the extra large !!! is from Unity Stamps. Limelight has a gread selection of Unity Stamps available - this particular set is not currently showing as available over there, but they do have a great selection of Unity Stamps!

I do like the way this card came out. I was trying to multi-task while creating it, so I guess it's just lucky to be here! The colors were manly and I think the little screw brads at the bottom were perfect for this Manly Card!

Thanks for looking and be sure to check out Limelight!

CropStop Kit - Ghiradelli Box

If you come to my blog with any kind of regularity, you must realize how much I LOVE 3-D items! This one is a little box that will hold 6 Ghiradelli chocolates. The original template was made by Jen del Muro (I {heart} to Stamp) and I use it all the time!! All products for this item can be found at CropStop.com. The papers all come from the October Craft Kit! You should go grab yours now while they are still available!
As always, thanks for visiting!

Limelight Sketch!

For World Card Making Day, I was able to squeek out one card. In this case, it was a card for my daughter, who I had to take to the ER last night. (can't tell you why, there's blog candy below!)

Anyway, this card is made with the Limelight sketch. Of course, after reading the entire challenge, I think I could be disqualified. It was supposed to be fall or Halloween. Now, I have an owl and green, which says fall-ish to me, but I am probably PUSHING the limits!! Anyway, it's a cute card and my daughter likes it too! I guess that's really the important part here.

Thanks for looking and I hope you all had a GREAT World Card Making Day!

Forgot something - BLOG CANDY!!! Leave me a comment here and take a guess as to what my daughter did to end up in the Emergency Room last night and I will send you out some candy (hopefully I will get to post a picture ASAP). WELCOME TO WORLD CARD MAKING DAY!!

Welcome to World Card Making Day - CropStop Style!!!

If you are coming to me from Gloria's blog, great!! If not, please jump on over to Annie's blog and start from the beginning - there are prizes and you don't want to miss any of it!

Here's my challenge:

Challenge #5 - Bird Bling

You need to make a card and it must contain both a bird and some sort of bling - make is sparkle! I used glitter on my sample, but you could use rhinestones, sugar coated brads, stickles - anything that you can get to sparkle!!!

Now - here's some of the details, and you can go over to the CropStop forum and view the thread as well. There are two mini hops - this is the last stop on the morning hop. If you complete all 5 morning challenges, you will get entered into a random drawing for a prize! Same goes for the afternoon. Then if you complete all 10 today, there's another drawing. You have til 2 pm tomorrow to complete all 10 and if you do, there's yet again another drawing! That's already four prizes. Plus you'll find blog candy on some stops too (or you may have already!)

All photos need to be loaded into the CropStop Gallery by 2pm tomorrow in the Event Album. Be sure to put the challenge number in the name of the photo! Should you have any problem with upload, you can email the photos directly to me.

On your mark...get set....GO!

But before you go....don't forget to be back here at 2pm for the start of the afternoon blog hop! I'll be waiting for you with a new challenge!

Okay - now you can go!

CropStop Kit - Lunch Bag Bag

Yes - another item from my CropStop October kit!!! It was chock full of stuff if I do say so myself! :)

This cute little gift bag, believe it or not, is a standard bought-in-the-grocery-store lunch bag!! The front and back panels are standard card size (4.25 x 5.5) and then attached to the lunch bag with adhesive - that was it!!! I did the panels, and then put the panel against the lunch bag and then cut the lunch bag down so it wouldn't show over the panels. Quick and cute if you are in a pinch for a gift back!

Stop back later (like around 9am and again at 2pm) - it's World Card Making Day you know and I have stuff to show you!!! The CropStop blog hop starts at Annie's blog at 9 am...hop on over!!

Thanks for visiting!!

CropStop Kit - Sour Cream Container

I love this little container! Right before I made it, I had found the template on somebody's blog, which I believe led back to SCS. Please forgive me for not having something more solid to tell you, but I will see if I can locate the information.

Again - CropStop.com kit!! (I am love love loving it) You can go see the whole kit (and purchase it today) at CropStop.com. <-----click there :) The only things not in the kit were the ribbon and the stamp. These little sour cream containers would be great party favors or even great to stick in a basket with other treats! Be sure to check out the Design team. Their links are on my sidebar (and in my October 1 post). They have some FANTABULOUS creations for you to see!

CropStop Kit - Pizza Box

I love this little pizza box!! For the main box, it's one piece of cardstock, a few score lines and a couple of snips with the scissors! Again, all items came from the October kit (except the dies to do the die cuts). Aren't those K & Co papers just delicious!!! What you can't see is there's self-adhesive paper ribbon around the edge of this box!
This box is the perfect size for a gift card - I didn't create the original template, it was a Jen del Muro creation, but if you send me an email I will either try to locate the link or write you up some directions myself.
I will have more tomorrow, so be sure to come back and check out the design team too! Their links are right over there ------------>. They're also in yesterday's post (so if you didn't stop by yesterday, go check out yesterday's creation too!)
Thanks for visiting!
