Pretty Scrappy

A new month!! Okay, so we're already into the month and I am just a little slow with the announcment! LOL Anyway, that means a whole new bunch of kits to play with over at Pretty Scrappy!!

This first layout - entitled COLOR - uses a kit called Scrap It, Snap it by ValerieN Designs. I didn't even touch on all the elements and papers that are included in this kit! There's SOOO much more! I did use a template on this layout from Studio Hillary.

The journaling tells about my daughter's VERY FIRST PAYCHECK and she wanted a mini computer and ordered it in PURPLE. Just so happened - it matched her toenail polish!


Next layout - DEVIN - uses the Live, Laugh, Love kit by Designs by Angel. It is actually a kit about autism and has many of the autism puzzle pieces included. It's a very cute kit whether your child is autistic or not. As Devin is not, I opted not to use the puzzle pieces for his layout - but would you look at that tree?!?!?

I LOVE this layout! The kit is by Valarie Ostrom Designs and is called GIRL TALK! It is a perfect kit for the girls in your life! I would say not your youngest little girls, but a little bit older! Here you see my daughter and her best friend about two years ago! It's one of my favorite pictures of the two of them. The template - which I just ADORE - is from Sahlin Studio.

And last, but certainly not least - Little Miss Sassy (that would definitely be my daughter!) and although she doesn't look overly sassy in this photo - her shirt matched the paper, so I went with it! ROFL

Anyway - this is the Pretty Scrappy August Collab and it's HUGE!!! Who you see here is not even the tip of th iceberg!! It's called Drama Queen (a female to last month's Drama King).

The font at the bottom is called You Are Loved and I believe it came from dafont.com.

And that's what Pretty Scrappy looked like for me this month! Stayed tuned - there's A LOT of stuff to see tomorrow.

Drama King - Game King

Got a little boy? Have trouble finding a kit to scrap his photos with? Look no further!!! Pretty Scrappy's July Collab kit is perfect! It's called DRAMA KING and has all sorts of "boy" stuff in it. It's loaded with papers and elements. I am TOTALLY loving how my layout came out too! As most of you know (if you read my blog regularly anyway) I am a new digital scrapper. This layout was made with a template - which is like a sketch if you're a traditional scrapper - and I just put my own spin on it!

As you can see, I made my little boy into the GAME KING! He loves that Nintendo DS - even though it did hit the toilet and he had to go back to using the old one - or his sister's pink one!! LOL

Loving Digital!!

I am soooo loving working in Digital! My friend Gloria told me she's "lost me to the dark side"! LOL Although I still love my paper, I don't have to search for my supplies for digital, and I can pack it up and take it with me wherever I go!

Anyway....here's my latest layout for Pretty Scrappy. The kit is called Cheerful and the designer is Share Your Moments Designs. I literally picked this kit to match my daughter's dress! It was so perfect too...and being the daisy-lover that I am - I was THRILLED to find it had daisies too!




I just LOVE it! Although because it has a partially white background, it's hard to tell where the layout ends...I will have to figure out a way to fix that one!

I am soooooo excited!! This was my first CT assignment for them...it was created by Armina Designs and she has the LOVELIEST KITS!! This one is called ORANGE CRUSH.

This is also my DT Assignment for ScrapSchemes. I just realized I posted it a day early - oops!! Be sure to check them out to see the inspiration piece. (I am obviously not posting that a day early! LOL)

Never fear - you will still see cards and traditional scrapping from me. Of course, some of those could very well be made with digital papers now! I think I'm addicted! :)
