I found this template over at DST - I downloaded it and used it immediately!! I think it is TOTALLY AWESOME!! It belongs to Fran - and I almost used the same kit she did...until I realized it was the same! LOL

Zoo Day

We did have a zoo day!! Last weekend was totally GORGEOUS and I took two of my kids and my daughter's boyfriend out to the zoo!! I renewed our membership, so I am sure there will be lots of zoo photos this year!

I think this was my favorite photo of the bunch....

Boy...Girl...Manic Monday!

The Studio Crew over at ScrapbookGraphics decided we should do a Masculine Play Day!! This was what came of it for me....


The kit is GEARED by Studio Rosey Posey and the template is PhotoCowGirl - part of her LIKE 'EM BIG template set. Of course, I kind of didn't use it exactly as it was meant to be, but that's one of the best things about templates, you can make them your own!!

Another thing going on in Digi-Land...today it's Monday (not my favorite day either) but that means MANIC MONDAY over at Scrap Matters! For just $2, you can get My Pink Caprice by ScrapMuss Designs!

Possibility

Amy Stoffel has a gorgeous kit out called POSSIBILITY! I have a couple of things I can show you today that I made with the kit.

First - this cute little hybrid project. It's an Origami shirt, and just by virtue of how it's folded....


It will also make a PERFECT gift card holder!!!



I also created the layout below, which shows you MUCH more of the kit!! I totally love all the details Amy put in this one, especially that awesome alphabet that I know I will reach for over and over again!!

The template was a newsletter freebie from Studio NeeNee!

The Digi Dares

I don't often participate in the DigiDares - I would probably participate more often, but I just forget!! LOL Anyway, I am loving this weeks, so I did it!

I am SOOOO loving the kits of Captivated Visions lately and this one is from her!! It's called SassyFrass and it's available at Elemental Scraps.

The template is by PhotoCowGirl and is available over at GingerScraps. I love these templates they are from her EXTREME CLUSTER set! They are totally awesome!! (and just became available today!!!)

Lastly, the word are is from Bethany who is NOW at SCRAPBOOK GRAPHICS - she has the absolute best word art! I love her stuff!!

I'm Lucky

I am lucky! I have beautiful children and don't really want for much. I did this layout and sometimes you just have to sit back and look at what you really have.

This layout was done with LUCKY U, a collab between ScrapMuss Designs & Stolen Moments. I didn't happen to have St. Patrick's Day photos, but as you can see, I didn't really need them.

Studio Alana has a GORGEOUS new kit out called FRESH AIR! Alana has such beautiful elements and I never feel I can do her kits justice! I am pretty happy with this layout though...

sussieM Play Day

It's Monday!! And for the Studio Crew that means PLAY DAY!! Today we are featuring sussieM! I had never used a sussieM kit before doing this Play Day! They are cute as can be, but I didn't think they worked for my scrapping style. I was quite pleasantly surprised to have this layout as the outcome!!

Easter Morning

I love the way this layout turned out - probably the simplicity of it! This layout uses a new kit called EASTER MORNING from Man in the Moon Designs! It's actually a collab with Stolen Moments.

As my kinds are older, I didn't have any really cute Easter pictures, but I loved that I could create a non-Easter layout with the kit! You should see the YUMMY chocolate alphabet that goes with it!

Hybrid Catch Up

Okay - so I have been slacking on my hybrid creations. Today, I truly made up for it!! Here's what I accomplished today!

Up first - Box in A Bag - two actually.

I have done these before - I could link you to some old, non-digital blog posts to show you, but I won't! LOL Anyway, this one is made using a template by Krisi Kreations, and is available over at Scrap Matters.

The kit is CAUGHT RED HANDED by Shawna Clingerman. It's the cutest darn kit you've ever seen! LOL


The second one uses the same template, but this kit is from Amy Stoffel and is called I'M JUST SAYIN'! I cute phrase that is well used in the CT Forum! This kit is totally adorable and if you're an Amy fan (even if you're not), it's a must have for your collection!


Next up - a triangular tube box. The template is by Kelleigh Ratzlaff over at the DigiChick. The kit is by Shawna Clingerman & Lauren Grier and is called BREATHE IN THE RAIN.



Last, but certainly not least, is this cute tapered box! Again a Kelleigh Ratzlaff template. The kit is LITTLE BIT O'GREEN by Geek Chic Scraps and is available over at Polka Dot Plum.

Mirror Mirror

I saw the CT Call for ScrapMuss designs and decided to go for it!! To apply, I downloaded a mini kit and had to make a layout. This is the layout I made:


I totally love the way this layout came out! As much as I would like to make the team, if I don't - I still have a great layout to show for it. And should a certain designer happen to be reading this blog post....I think you should continue and make this kit full size! LOVE IT!!

Just For Fun

While I love my CT work, sometimes it's fun just to scrap - just for the fun of it! I did a couple of layouts this week....

I actually started this one for another project, but then decided it would work for that, so I added the photo of my daughter and her boyfriend - I love the way it came up. The kit, I believe, is Libby Weifenbach's Chicken Fried.



This second one uses a template by Studio NeeNee at Scrapbook Graphics and the kit is Slink, Slither & Plod by Misty Cato & Suzy Q.
