If you are here for the CropStop blog hop - click ---->HERE for the "official" post!!
It's only one post below this one, so feel free to just scroll down!
These are the last of my layouts using the Apron Strings Designs February kit. Of course, I could make more - I still have more supplies left over! The kit is jam packed!!!!
Everything you see here was in the kit. I used the QuicKutz Yogurt Alphabet for the word LOVE and the 4x8 QuicKutz Storybook alphabet for "is the key". The key came as naked chipboard and I just inked it up and placed it on there! Love this layout - these pictures are once again of my lovely daughter!
Here are the two pages side by side.
As always, thanks for visiting and don't forget the CropStop Blog Hop!! The design team links are right over there --------> for your convenience. You will probably have to scroll down more to get to them!

More Scraplings - ASD Style!
Onto the cards. The Apron Strings "theory" is once you have made your layouts, immediately use the scraps to make cards! So, that being said, you have probably notice the last several posts I have been making mini-cards called "Scraplings"....
I am sure that you can come up with many more uses for these cute little cards as well! I would love to see some of your creations!!
Well these are more scraplings and I must say I do LOVE them!! With your scraps, a couple of punches or die cuts and you've got yourself a little card to make somebody's day with. I know I have said this before, but I think these are great to throw into your kids lunch - just and I love you or even a reminder to do something later! And what co-worker wouldn't want to find a little card on their desk after having had a bad day! They would even be great as a gift tag as opposed to a large card.
I am sure that you can come up with many more uses for these cute little cards as well! I would love to see some of your creations!!
And I love this Just Because one. Made with the Apron Strings Kit, the "price tag" - which really says it all on this card, comes in the February kit. Just attach it to pretty cardstock and you're good to go. And those three little circles at the bottom (Hear that Lori & Michelle - circles) are really just holes! I use the hole punch to give an illusion of a brad!
As always, thanks for stopping by!
I am hoping to have more to show you really soon!!

Apron Strings Designs - MORE MORE MORE!
Okay - I promised you more...so here it is! :)
As always - thanks for visiting. I should have more ASD tomorrow!
The Apron Strings Designs kits are LOADED so as you can see, there's lots to show you! These two layouts are actually 12" x 12" - which is not my usual size. However, in every ASD kit, there's a sketch included. These two layouts use the sketch that is included in the February kit.
These are once again photographs of my daughter at her cheerleading competition. You'll probably see more, but the good news is - competitions end on March 8th, so we are almost through Cheerleading Season! LOL (As this post hits my blog, I will be on my way to a cheerleading competition in Connecticut and will probably be there ALL DAY!)
As always - thanks for visiting. I should have more ASD tomorrow!
Happy Valentine's Day!
Happy Valentine's Day!!
Yes - more scraplings - I sent these to school with Devin for his teachers...this one above is the Cat's Pajamas kitty - Sprinkles!
This one was made with a QuicKutz die - available at CropStop.com.
And lastly, another Sprinkles with a different ribbon. Just some cute scraplings to say HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY to all of you who have stopped by today to visit!!
Thanks!

BLOG CANDY!!!
Blog Candy Giveaway!
I entered a contest to win a homemade gift by leaving one of the first 5 comments on Tammy's blog, so now I'll see who my first 5 are. The first five people to respond to this post will get something made by me! My choice. For you! (This is almost direct copy of her post!)
This offer does have some restrictions and limitations:
1- I make no guarantees that you will like what I make!
2- What I create will be just for you.
3- It'll be done this year! (I usually create pretty fast, but mailing is my downfall!)
4- You have no clue what it's going to be. I have tons of ideas, but who knows what it will be? Not you, that's for sure!
5-The catch? Oh, the catch is that you must repost this on your blog and offer the same to the first 5 people who do the same on your blog! (then come here and post, I WILL check your blog *wink*)
The first 5 people to do so and leave a comment telling me they did win a homemade gift by me! Oh, and be sure to post a picture of what you win when you get it!So....who will be the first 5 people?????

CropStop Challenge!!
It is once again Friday - and that means a challenge over on the CropStop Message Board! This week it's my week to host the challenge and I ask that you make a "Scrapling!". You may have seen them on my blog before and I'm back with more.
Scraplings are little cards that use only scraps. So when you trim a couple of inches off the edge of your paper, that should be your card base. These little cards are great to stick in your kids lunch, a pick me up for a friend, etc. Somebody suggested they could be made into placecards.
So - onto the challenge!!! The challenge this week is make your scrapling (mine are 2" x 4.25" in size) using ONLY scraps from your stash, you must use a diecut (As I am the QuicKutz Specialist for CropStop, I would of course prefer if you use a QK die, but all are acceptable! LOL) and since tomorrow is Valentine's Day, you must use either red or pink - you do not, however, need to make it into a Valentine Card, although mine are.
All the dies I used on mine are from CropStop.com, as is that pretty pink swirly ribbon! So hop on over to CropStop.com and load your pictures in!! We'd love to see you over there!
As always - thank you for taking time out of your day and visiting with me. I hope to have more to show you tomorrow...I have more Apron Strings creations for you!

Apron Strings Designs - February Kit - Part II
***Edited to Add Photos - because I am an idiot! LOL***
U Txt? has a few extra die cuts. As I say this, I will just say again that I LOVE THICKERS I had actually run out of letters (which you'll be able to see in a few days when you see the rest of my layouts), so as much as the kids really would type U Txt?, I did it from the lack of extra Es! LOL The lovely young lady in the U Txt? layout is my favorite cheerleader - my daughter Amandalyn. :) (Isn't she cute in her cheer flip? which just means that some of that hair really isn't hers...)
Anyway - there's still MORE to see from this kit, so be sure to come back tomorrow! And as always, thanks for stopping by!
Hey there - thanks for coming back! Here's Part of Part II of the February Apron Strings Designs Bigger than a Breadbox kit! There's were made with the Pebbles Snow Fun half of the kit - and then I made that Snow Fun layout - I didn't even realize the was the name of the paper! LOL
The Snow Fun layout is done entirely from the kit - I didn't even add in an extra die cut! Those letters are glittered THICKERS by American Crafts (and I do love them)!!! The cute little boy in the photo is my son Devin.

Apron Strings Designs - February Kit
It is finally time for me to show you the Apron Strings Designs February kit! This is my first time desing for Apron Strings. I have subscribed to their kit for quite a while now and absolutely LOVE them. I personally subscribe to the Smaller than a Breadbox Kit, but for designing this month, I received the Bigger than a Breadbox Kit. I am going to show you some of what I have created today. I was going to do this in two sections, as the kit comes in two segments, but when I realized how much I had to show you, I am going to have to stretch it out a little bit more.
These first two layouts are done with the My Mind's Eye Laundry Line. You can see the kit HERE. Tomorrow, I will show you the some from the Pebbles Snow Fun half of the kit. I made four layouts (two shown here) - all of mine are 9x9. Apron Strings believes that after you have finished your scrapbooking, you should take you scraps and make cards ASAP. So, I worked on this principal and will also have cards to show you....and guess what?!?! This kit is sooooo LOADED, I still have more scraps leftover!!
All the papers and embellishments were in the kit. I used two different QuicKutz alphabets for the titles...."Penguin" is done with the brand new Yogurt Cookie Cutter Alphabet and "Sweet 16" is done in the new 4x8 Gazebo Alphabet - both of which are available at CropStop.com.
So stop over to Apron Strings Designs and pick up your kit and be sure to stop back tomorrow to see the more of my creations!!
As always, thanks for taking the time out of your day to stop by and see me!

Good Luck Phil!
I made this card last night -- before I get onto the details that most of you are looking for and come to my blog for, I want to wish all the luck in the world to my friend Phil over in our Indiana Plant. Today is his last day working with us and hopefully he will stay in touch with all of us who will miss him as he goes onto his new endeavor!!
So for the rest of the story - this is actually a sneak peak of the Apron Strings Designs February kit. I acutally got SPECIAL PERMISSION to post this card early so I could have it up here for Phil's last day! So I don't want to give too much away in my sneak peak but if you run over to Apron Strings Designs, you can see the kit in it's entirety. Just sign up and you can get a kit like this EVERY month....it's filled with gorgeous papers and embellishments. I will release much more information to you on the 9th. So be sure to come back.
As always - thanks for visiting!
