Studio...

I can honestly say when this layout was made, I made it using Studio Birgit's new kit - Awaken - available as Scrapbook Graphics! However, since then, and starting officially today, we have a new Studio Girl - STUDIO BETHANY!!! I have always been a fan of Elegant WordArt by Bethany and I am THRILLED that she is now going to be part of ScrapbookGraphics!

CRASH!

Okay - so the computer crashed....I have finally recovered my photos and layouts (THANKS SCOTT!!! <-----he's my brother). So...I have photos - I scrap!! Here's what I have to show you today. These were all pretty much for fun! These first two, however, use templates for the brand new STUDIO NEE NEE over at Scrapbook Graphics - I have already told her that I may never scrap again without using her templates!! They are TOTALLY AWESOME so if you haven't gotten any yet, RUN RUN RUN!!!

The kit on this is Mariposa by Julie Billingsley - she is fast becoming one of my favorite designers.

This one uses Fee Jardine's Crazy 4 You - available at the Sweet Shoppe.

This last one uses Julie Billingsley's Love of My Life! Perfect for the guys in your life! I will have to get back to you on the owner of that template! LOL

Speaking of Miss Kim - she made this WONDERFUL layout of my pooch!! This is Miss Lainey and she is a merle Great Dane! I was surprised to find this in my inbox this morning. I do not, unfortunately, have the credits to go with it (except I do know those nifty photo templates she used are from Studio Jen), but will update you if I can find them out!!



We got quite a bit of snow here in the Northeast this past weekend and I was able to take this photos of Lainey playing in the snow! Hopefully you are someplace warm and snowless!

New Team - LaunchPads!!

I am very HAPPY to say that I am one of the newest members of the LaunchPads Creative Team!! Wooo Hoooo!! Most of you know I recently (about 8 months ago) switched from paper to digital. First Day - Impressions of Harvest

Hello bloggers!! I have a layout for you today! Has everybody checked out the Studio Girls collab this month?? You should! It's filled with warm rich fall colors - it's GORGEOUS!! It's called IMPRESSIONS OF HARVEST.

I made this page using the collab - I know - I still have that paper scrapped looked. I can't help it! And my friend Chel made this template for me out of a sketch I had seen and liked! She's SOOOO talented! I want to make templates like her when I grow up! (And Lita too!!)




So this is my son on his first day of school. It's not what I consider the "official" picture, but I wanted to capture the look on his face as we were waiting in the playground that morning. It's a simple page - but my scrapping moto has always been "Simple Pages - Completed Albums". I like to focus on the pictures - that's what it's about, right?!?!

New Stuff!

Well, it's release day over at Scrap Orchard and I have TWO SUPER CUTE releases to show you!!

This first one is from Amy Stoffel and it's called I AM A ROBOT! You can see all those gears on my boxes and she has some UBER cute robots in that kit too!!


Next up is for the girls in your life!! This kit is called LOVEY-DOVEY and it's a collab between Ziggle Designs & Tracie Stroud. It is SOOO adorable!! Like I already said - VERY girly!!

This one also uses Kelleigh R's Hexagon box templates! I love these templates!! How else would I be able to make such cute boxes!! She's got all sorts of great templates over at the DigiChick, so be sure to check her out!


So be sure to run over to Scrap Orchard and pick them up! You can lose with either of these kits...one of the boys and one for the girls! Can't get much better than that!!

On top of all that cuteness, I have more! lol Ellie Lash is retiring from designing - which makes me VERY sad! I love her designs! But right now, all of her designs are on sale over at Scrapbook Graphics - and CHEAP too!!

I made this layout using her Rugrats Playground kit, which is a collab with Mood Scraps. The template is from Susan Robinson and can be purchased over at Digital Scrap Ink.


And I do have another Ellie Lash layout to show you using NEW TEMPLATES from Studio Hillary, but I have lost it in the external hard drive. As soon as I find it, I will get it on here for you!

Okay - I found it....that wasn't a long wait, was it?!?! lol

This was made using Ellie's Fly Free kit! I love the colors and the elements are just perfect!! Great for those everyday photos...or, in this case, a candid self-portrait taken at a dance!

Some layouts & stuff...

A couple of things I have created recently - I am trying to go back to my regular posting. This first one uses Flergs TroubleMaker kit and a Template from Chrissy W. - two of my favorite designers combined - what could be better!!

The journaling, which you probably can't read, is a story that I often read to Devin at bedtime. It basically tells him that no matter what he does - I still love him.


This next one is using a new kit called In The Blues from Studio Ziska and a template from Jen C - both over at Scrapbook Graphics! It happens to be Jen C's playday at the Studio, so you should head on over and play with her templates - they're fabulous!!



Last, but certainly not least, are fortune cookies I made for The Hybrid Chick - but I am not going to tell you much about them here. Stop over to The Hybird Chick blog and read the whole post and see my tutorial!

Stuffs!

Here are some creations I have done recently, but don't think I have blogged about...and a few announcements that I should have already made but don't think I did - and if I did, and I am repeating myself, please forgive me! LOL

First up - a tumbler! I love making these! They can be done in paper or digital and they're generally pretty quick. This one is made with Shawna Clingerman's Smarty Pants kit, which can be found at Sweet Shoppe Designs - I have just been asked to be a HYBRID ARTIST on her CREATIVE TEAM!!!

This is my first project for her. Here's the tumbler:



And here is the artwork so you can see the full picture at once - it's kind of hard to get photos of the whole tumbler:



Next up is a layout using Flerg's Rough & Tumble Reloaded kit as well as Studio Hillary's template from her White Space #1 Template set. The stitching on this is new from Flerg's - her Crazy Stitches #1 Set - all of which is available at Scrapbook Graphics.


I think I previously announced that I was asked to be part of Studio Hillary's Creative Team, but in case I didn't I figured I would mention it. You might remember the 20 page set I did for her, which is here on the blog if you wanted to take a peek.

If all that wasn't good enough - I have been asked to be part of the STUDIO CREW!!!! This would be the Scrapbook Graphics Site CT!! I am SOOOOO excited!

That is one talented bunch of ladies and I am honored to be among them!!! I will be working on hybrid projects for them and you can catch my post on the blog on the Third Tuesday of every month!!
